Sydney Brasfield Honored with Rising Star Award; Sydney Brasfield and Acker Holt Selected for Leadership Roles

Ball, Ball, Matthews & Novak is pleased to announce that attorney Sydney Brasfield has been selected as the recipient of the Rising Star Award presented by the Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA).

The Rising Star Award recognizes young attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to the legal profession. Sydney has been actively involved with the ADLA Young Lawyers Section and has served as District III Director, representing members throughout the Montgomery area.  

In addition to this recognition, Sydney has been selected to serve another term as District III Director for the ADLA Young Lawyers Section for 2026–2028. Joining her in this leadership role will be Ball Ball attorney Acker Holt, who will also serve as a District III Director.

The firm is proud of Sydney’s accomplishments and grateful for the continued service and leadership that both Sydney and Acker provide to the legal profession and the defense bar throughout Alabama.
