Two Ball Ball attorneys recently were part of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association’s annual Deposition Boot Camp Faculty. Each year, ADLA will assemble a Faculty of experienced lawyers from across the State to mentor young lawyers on the process and techniques to take depositions in an intense two day seminar. This year, Gerald Swann from Montgomery and Ben Heinz of the Mobile offices of Ball Ball were selected to be part of the faculty. Attorney Swann spoke to the group on deposition objections and dealing with difficult lawyers while Attorney Heinz provided insight on the formalities of deposition practice. Both Attorney Swann and Attorney Heinz also conducted workshop sessions with students on a variety of other topics including depositions of corporate representatives, treating physicians, and expert witnesses.
