Attorney Chris Waller has recently achieved a string of victories defending professionals across Alabama in licensing and disciplinary matters. These outcomes underscore his commitment to protecting the rights, reputations, and livelihoods of clients facing high-stakes complaints.

Veterinary Professionals Defended

  • Emergency Veterinary Specialist: In March 2025, Waller represented a veterinary emergency specialist accused of mishandling an abdominal exploratory surgery. After a thorough review, the state licensing board found no violation of the Veterinary Practice Act or applicable standard of care.

  • Relief Veterinarian: In May 2025, Waller secured a dismissal for a relief veterinarian accused of negligence in treating a patient with ataxia and respiratory issues. The Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners determined no violation occurred.

  • Veterinary Practice Owner: In a separate May 2025 case, Waller successfully defended a practice owner after allegations related to the euthanasia of a canine. The board dismissed all claims, citing no breach of care.

Medical Providers Cleared

Waller also defended a provider specializing in emergency medicine after claims tied to surgery following a motor vehicle accident. Despite expert testimony presented against the provider, the licensing board concluded no violation of the standard of care occurred and dismissed the complaint.

Real Estate Professionals Protected

In two separate matters before the Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC), Waller achieved complete dismissals:

  • National Homebuilder: AREC determined that neither the company nor its brokers violated rules or regulations.

  • Real Estate Broker: All charges against a broker serving as qualifying broker for his firm were also dismissed.

Homebuilder Complaint Dismissed

A consumer complaint before the Alabama Homebuilders Licensure Board, involving residential construction, was dismissed after Waller presented a strong defense with expert testimony. The board found no probable cause to proceed.

Legal and Healthcare Professionals Defended

  • Out-of-State Attorney: Facing allegations of unauthorized practice of law, an attorney prevailed after the Alabama State Bar dismissed the complaint with no violation found.

  • Licensed Midwife: The Alabama State Board of Midwifery dismissed a complaint after determining no probable cause existed.

  • Licensed Dentist: The Board of Dental Examiners of Alabama also dismissed charges against a dentist, finding no evidence of a rules violation.

From veterinarians to real estate brokers, healthcare providers, and attorneys, Chris Waller continues to defend professionals against complex licensing complaints. His consistent record of securing dismissals highlights his deep knowledge of regulatory boards and his steadfast dedication to client advocacy.
