David Moncrief

David Moncrief is an associate in the Montgomery office and practices in the area of general civil litigation. He is licensed to practice in both Alabama and Florida.

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, David graduated from Auburn University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Upon completion, he relocated to Tampa, Florida to work as a Distribution Engineer in the power delivery industry. During this time, David obtained his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Cooley, he spent multiple semesters on the Dean’s list, was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Society, and competed in the New England Hockey Arbitration Competition. Additionally, Mr. Moncrief spent time as an extern with the Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission. Prior to joining Ball Ball Matthews & Novak PA, David was an associate at one of Florida’s largest civil defense firms focusing on general liability matters.

Outside of work, David enjoys supporting Auburn athletics and spending time with his family and friends.
