Biography

Ham Wilson is a partner in the Montgomery office and has tried more than 75 cases to jury verdict throughout Alabama. His practice has focused on professional liability, medical negligence, and personal injury cases for over 35 years. He also represents business organizations and associations.

Ham is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.

 

From 2011 to 2015, he was honored as an Alabama “Super Lawyer,” a distinction received by only 5% of the attorneys practicing in the state of Alabama. He is also a long-time Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated trial attorney.

He is admitted to practice in the state of Alabama, U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts in Alabama, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

 

Ham is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the Cumberland School of Law. He is a former member of the Alabama House of Representatives and has served as a special assistant Attorney General. In 2009, Ham was appointed by Governor Bob Riley to the Montgomery County Commission. He was elected to the Commission in 2010 and served until November 2012.

 

Ham is a lifelong resident of Montgomery, and he and his wife, Cindy, have 3 daughters. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church.
