Tabor Novak obtained dismissal of two separate lawsuits filed in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County against the Governor, Finance Director and Commissioner of Conservation of Alabama and the Executive Director of the Gulf State Park Project of Alabama. The litigation sought to block an ongoing Project dedicated to the enhancement and improvement of an Alabama state park being funded by money recovered as a result of the BP oil spill. The Court agreed with the position of the Defendants that the Plaintiffs in each case lacked standing to pursue their claims.
