Brooke Emfinger Reid joined Ball, Ball, Matthews & Novak in 2006. Mrs. Reid is a native of Bullock County where her father served as District Judge there for many years. Since joining the firm, Mrs. Reid has defended and tried numerous cases, including those involving personal injuries, claims for workers compensation, wrongful termination, and breach of contract. She has also served as a part-time prosecutor for the City of Montgomery, and, in that capacity, has prosecuted various misdemeanor criminal offenses. Mrs. Reid is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Alabama. Mrs. Reid served as the 2013-2014 President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and Alabama State Bar Association.
Mrs. Reid graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Birmingham Southern College in 2003 and subsequently obtained her law degree from the University of Alabama.
She and her husband, Phelps, have two children. Mrs. Reid is a member of the Church of the Ascension where she serves on the Altar Guild Committee.
