Biography
Jack Owen is a partner in the Montgomery office. His practice focuses on insurance coverage analysis and litigation along with probate administration and litigation.
Jack began practicing with the firm in 1976. His early practice concentrated on defense litigation. He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama. Jack is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and Federal Bar Association.
He received his B.A. in English from the University of Virginia in 1972 and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1976.
Jack was born in Montgomery. He and his wife, Terri, are the parents of two adult children, Justin and Warren. Jack enjoys Lake Martin, his cocker spaniels, and University of Alabama (and sometimes Virginia) sports.
