May 2007-Defense Verdict in a Case Alleging Excessive Force

In May 2007, Winston Sheehan successfully defended a deputy sheriff against a civil rights claim of the use of excessive force. The case was tried in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and returned a defense verdict.
