August 2006 - No Damages Awarded to Plaintiff in a Diminished Value Case

"In Montgomery County, a plaintiff driver brought suit for diminished value damages to her vehicle arising from a motor vehicle collision.  Plaintiff argued although her vehicle had been repaired, the fact that it had been involved in a prior accident caused a loss of value as compared to similar vehicles with no prior accident history. After a  Montgomery County jury returned a verdict for the defendant driver and awarded no damages to plaintiff. This action was successfully defended by Chris Waller of the Montgomery office."
