July 2007 - Defendant's Verdict in Escambia County Medical Malpractice Case
In July 2007, Tabor Novak defended a surgeon who was charged with failure to diagnose and treat a surgical complication (a perforation to the stomach occurring as a by-product of a Nissen Fundoplication). The co-defendant had settled prior to trial. The case lasted slightly over a week before the jury returned a verdict in favor of the physician.
