Hyun Gi (Allen) Ryu is an associate in Montgomery where his practice is focused in labor & employment and corporate law. He also offers advice to Korean companies in the automotive industry focusing on business organization and preventive legal management.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ryu was exposed to employment law through internships at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also worked as an extern at the legal department of the Coca-Cola Company where he reviewed the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act 2010 and assisted clients in adopting preventive compliance measures. He has also dealt with Korean clients while working as a summer associate with the international law firm Kim & Chang.

Mr. Ryu earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he worked as a research assistant to Professor Teemu Ruskola, and his B.A. in Business Management from Handong University. He is a native Korean speaker and is fluent in the Portuguese language.
