Gerald, originally from Ashville, Alabama, has been with Ball, Ball since 1986 after completing law school at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. His practice is devoted to litigation having taken numerous cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts, as well as Arbitration. The primary focus of Gerald's practice has been in the areas of construction and products liability, but still actively handles a wide variety of personal injury cases.
A graduate of the University of Alabama, where he was a member of the Alabama football team, coached by Paul Bear' Bryant, Gerald has been active in the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, serving on the Boards of both the Young Lawyers Division and the Association's Board of Directors. He maintains memberships in the Montgomery County and Alabama Bar Associations, DRI, the Alabama Association of General Contractors and the Alabama Home Builders Association. Gerald is admitted to practice in each of the U.S. District Courts of Alabama and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
He and his wife Denise are members of the First Baptist Church of Montgomery and have two children, Tripp and Laura Helen.
